Welcome to the Children's Fishing Clinics

Academic Anglers Children's Fishing Clinics, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, Florida corporation dedicated to introducing any disadvantaged child to the experience of fishing.

As part of its effort to "Get more children fishing, more often," the Academic Anglers Fishing Team have teamed with businesses, organizations and volunteers from Florida, Michigan and Virginia to provide several fantastic fishing opportunities for children ages 8 to 16.

These FREE Children's Fishing Clinics  take place from April to June, and each provides a day of fishing fun for several hundred kids and their families. The children fishing these events get to catch, release and keep a couple of the fish they catch, they receive a colorful Academic Anglers cap and tee-shirt, and they can KEEP the rod and reel they're given at the end of the event! Pre-registration is required, and the number of kids per event is limited.

Our first event is scheduled for: Wednesday June 15 & Thursday June 16, 2015 in Brevard County Florida
